Course Overview
IOSH Managing Safely is a practical health and safety course designed for managers and supervisors. It provides delegates with the knowledge and confidence to identify hazards, assess and control risks, and understand their responsibilities for managing health and safety in the workplace.

Assessment Methods
IOSH Managing Safely is assessed through a multiple-choice assessment completed at the end of the course and a practical risk assessment activity designed to test practical understanding rather than academic knowledge.
Delegates must achieve the required standard to successfully complete the course. Successful delegates receive an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
Progression Options
IOSH Managing Safely provides managers or supervisors with the opportunity to progress to further study, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate, which can provide a pathway towards more advanced health and safety roles.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
No previous health and safety qualification or experience is required but IOSH working safely would be an advantage. Delegates should have a basic understanding of their workplace and responsibilities.
The course is suitable for managers, supervisors and team leaders.
Learners should have sufficient English language and literacy skills to understand the course materials and complete the assessment.
