School Leavers

At Bridgwater College, we want to make sure you get the most out of your next steps, whatever it is you choose. We’re here to guide you in this process, and make it as easy as possible for you.

Thinking about your options after GCSEs?

Approaching the end of secondary school is a big moment in all our lives. It is a time filled with excitement about the future and the many possibilities to come. Sometimes, knowing what to do after your GCSEs can feel tough.

However, everyone is welcome at Bridgwater College. Whatever your background, and whatever your learning style, we encourage all students to join us and follow their passions.

That’s why we offer a number of different pathways for you to choose from.

Our Pathways

There are four main routes available to School Leavers at Bridgwater College. We call these ‘pathways’, and you’ll hear about them a lot whenever you interact with us! Each have their own unique traits and benefits, and it’s best to consider what you like to study and how you like to learn.

Each pathway and each course involves a different style of learning, and different set of requirements. Thinking about your own learning style will be a huge help in picking the right course. For example, would you prefer your grades to be determined by exams or by coursework; do you enjoy more practical lessons or are you a fan of traditional academia? These questions will help you find the course that you will not only enjoy, but thrive doing, ensuring you make the most of your time here.
