Our Pathways
There are four main routes available to School Leavers at Bridgwater College. We call these ‘pathways’, and you’ll hear about them a lot whenever you interact with us! Each have their own unique traits and benefits, and it’s best to consider what you like to study and how you like to learn.
Each pathway and each course involves a different style of learning, and different set of requirements. Thinking about your own learning style will be a huge help in picking the right course. For example, would you prefer your grades to be determined by exams or by coursework; do you enjoy more practical lessons or are you a fan of traditional academia? These questions will help you find the course that you will not only enjoy, but thrive doing, ensuring you make the most of your time here.
A Levels
At Bridgwater College, we offer a dynamic and engaging A Level programme designed to help you thrive, with exclusive enrichment opportunities, international trips, and expert tutelage from devoted staff.
T Levels
T Levels are forward-thinking qualifications designed to prepare you for skilled employment, university, or higher apprenticeships. You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom, and 20% on a vital industry placement.
Technical & Professional Qualifications
Designed to bridge the gap between education and real careers, our hands-on courses are perfect for students who learn best by doing.
Apprenticeships
We’re proud to be a part of one of the UK’s leading providers of Further Education apprenticeships. If you’re ready to kickstart your career and gain hands-on experience while you study, an apprenticeship could be the next step for you.
Parents & Carers Hub
Here on behalf of your young person? We’ve created a dedicated hub for parents and carers to give you all the information and guidance you need as your child begins their journey into further education with us.
Seeing is believing!
Join us at an Open Event to learn first-hand about our School Leaver offerings. We run several throughout an academic year, usually in October, January, and June.
