Course Overview

The certificate in Women’s Hairdressing will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the hairdressing industry. Our salon spaces ensure you combine theory and practical skills in each session, and support your professional communication developing throughout the course.

Assessment Methods

You will be assessed through a combination of multi-choice exams and practical assessments on clients. Some written work is required as supporting evidence.

Progression Options

After qualifying at Level 2, you can enter employment in a salon or study further on the C&G Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing.

Entry Requirements

We require no formal entry grades, but do ask for a keen interest in the industry and the ability to commit to attending all sessions.

A good level of English to communicate with clients is important.
