Course Overview
Running over various dates in the year, this course provides companies and individuals with fast-track skilling in a range of welding types and methods. On completion, individuals will receive a Bridgwater College certificate.
The course is a highly intensive four-day experience with a College Certificate.* *Four days of training with the option to attempt a coding welding test on the fourth day at a cost of £50 per coding.
Topics may include:
- MMA
- MIG/MAG
- FCAW
- TIG.
Additional Costs:
Using the desired welding processes, MMA, MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG, this course will also include the optional extra of final welding competence testing to BS4872 for an additional £50.
Assessment Methods
There is no direct assessment with this short course. However, delegates will be expected to complete a set of welding assignments, this course will also include an optional extra of final welding competence testing to BS4872.
Assessments are through practical projects and are assessed internally by your tutor.
Progression Options
You could progress to Level 2 SEG or progress in your own employment.
