This HNC is a nationally-recognised professional qualification that can enhance your workplace skills and help you to progress in your engineering career. It is a highly-respected qualification that is recognised by employers and professional bodies alike. The course is a recognised Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). HTQs are Level 4 and 5 qualifications, that sit between A levels/T levels and degrees. They have been approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education as meeting the occupational standards for the relevant sector.

On successful completion of the HNC, you will have a wide choice of careers, including electrical engineer, electronics engineer, or systems engineer. You could also continue your studies at HND or degree level.

Entry Requirements

Typically, entrants will possess a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, and GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English and maths. Consideration will be given for those with industrial experience.
