The marketing team has been recognised on a national stage after receiving a Silver Award at the FE Marketing Network Awards 2026, celebrating excellence in further education marketing.
The award was presented in the Communication Campaign category and recognised the team’s creative, high-impact campaign following the announcement that they (Bridgwater & Taunton College) had been rated Outstanding by Ofsted in all areas.
The campaign focused on sharing the achievement with staff, students, prospective learners, employers and the wider community in a way that felt authentic, celebratory and inclusive. Rather than relying on a single channel, the team delivered a bold, multi-platform approach designed to maximise reach and engagement.
Receiving an Outstanding rating is a huge achievement for everyone across the college, and our goal was to make sure that pride and excitement were felt by all. Winning a Silver Award nationally is a brilliant recognition of the creativity, teamwork and energy that went into the campaign.

Judges praised the campaign for its creativity, clarity of message and strong sense of community, highlighting how the team successfully translated a significant inspection outcome into content that resonated with a wide range of audiences.
The Silver Award places the team among the very best in further education marketing nationally and reinforces the impact of creative communications in celebrating success, building reputation and strengthening connections with the community.
