Officially opened by the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change in 2011, the Energy Skills Centre has become a regional hub for engineering, science, low carbon technologies and nuclear-related education and training.ย 

Supported by major industry players like EDF Energy and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, it provides a direct pathway into some of the UKโ€™s most in-demand sectors.

Highlights include our state-of-the-art Engineering workshopย and a Welding & Fabrication workshop, which is also home to our Welding Centre of Excellence.
