We listen to feedback and act when needed. Share your thoughts with us on how we can improve.
Community expectations
As a student, you’re a part of a wider community, and we all have a role to play in maintaining an inclusive and professional college environment.
We ask that you:
- Always wear your lanyard while at college
- Never use offensive or discriminatory language
- Vape only in designated areas
- Avoid eating in classrooms
- Park in marked bays and follow the 5mph speed limit
- Dispose of litter properly and follow recycling guidance
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene rules as set out by the Government and the College
- Treat college property and equipment with care
- Dress in a way that reflects a professional learning environment
- Never bring alcohol, drugs, weapons, pornography, or hateful materials to college
- Treat others with respect and kindness at all times
- Understand the impact of harmful sexual behaviour or comments and commit to creating a safe space for all.
Holding ourselves accountable
If you feel we’re not living up to our promises, we encourage you to raise concerns or make a complaint. We’ll always do our best to put things right.
If a student is struggling to meet our expectations, we will respond through our College Disciplinary Procedure. This process is designed to be supportive and restorative, helping students to move forward positively.
By working together and respecting each other, we can all contribute to a college environment that is safe, supportive, and full of opportunity.
Education is not just about qualifications, it’s about building respectful, inclusive communities where every individual can become a citizen.
Sustainability is a shared responsibility. That’s why we’re working hard to reduce our environmental impact and embed sustainable thinking into the way we learn and work.
We celebrate the rich diversity of our college community and work hard to ensure that every person is treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
